The convertible and four door sedan use the same engines.
The 2.5L does. Other engines do not.
this is what the junk yard guy told me so take it with a grain of salt, I have no first hand knowledge. he said an 01 sebring sedan or convertible and 01 stratus.
Very few if any will fit. They are different body styles with different engines.
3.5L V6, yes. All other engines, no.
The 2.7L has a chain, all other engines have a belt.
On engines with a timing belt, it is inside the passenger side of the engine.
The 2.7L has a chain. All other engines have a timing belt.
A 2.7L has a chain, all other engines have a belt.
I doubt that Rolls Royce ever used a Chrysler built engine but I know they used custom built automatic transmissions based on the Chrysler 727. And no the parts don't interchange.
The 2.7L is the only direct fit. The Sebring could have been built with a 2.4L, but you would need the proper transmission, computers, and wiring harnesses.
All engines have just one thermostat. It depends on which 2.4l. The PT Cruiser has one. The Sebring has two thermostats.
