The Earth would suffer little affect. The most we would get is rocks blasted from the moon and made it to Earth although they would be to small for any real damage. The moon would experience a crater in its place.
Create a giant crater where it hit, and depending on how large it is, create a huge dust cloud that would mask the sun so no light would reach that region for some time.
the moon will break into half or it will break into pieces (depends how the comet or asteroid's size)
you could say Global Extinction........
It is quite common for small meteors to hit the Earth. Larger impacts by an asteroid or comet are also possible but happen much less often.
You usually get a crater, with surrounding damage.
A large meteorite can. Also an asteroid or a comet can cause a crater.
Aphelion is the point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid, or comet at which it is furthest from the sun.
One currently accepted theory of the Moon's creation is that it was ejecta from the earth after an impact with an asteroid or comet.
A large comet or asteroid striking earth
A massive asteroid could crash into Earth
Probably an asteroid, meteor or comet.

An asteroid, because the orbits of the asteroids are nearer to the earth than the comets.
No. There is no comet or asteroid or meteor going to hit the Earth. Most of it is superstition.
The Earth and the asteroid could be at a different points in the path.
An asteroid

A comet is a cloud of dust and an asteroid is a solid rock.
