I am no veterinary, but I would say yes. I had a pet iguana and we fed it apples, bananas, etc. A helpful rule of thumb:if the food would be bad for you, then it typically should not be fed to a lizard or any other type of animal. That means no junk food. Natural foods like an apple should be fine.
