Do you mean the cooling fan? If so engine temperature has excedded 235 degrees Check coolant level
check the fueses check fueses
You may have a vacuum leak

What can happen when a blower motor resistor goes bad is that the motor will run and then suddenly stop running on a regular basis. Sometimes the blower fan will not turn on and cause the motor to overheat.
could be the blower motor, a fuse, or a bad wire.
Well since I put the question out there, Inow have the answer: It was the blower motor module that needed to be replaced. It was burned out. It cause me 251.00 for part and labor.
it could be the Alternator
A clogged fuel filter can cause a Mitsubishi Galant to idle rough for the first 10 minutes it is running and then it runs fine after that. A fouled spark plug can also cause this issue.
A plugged cabin air filter could cause poor air circulation coming out of the ac vents but you would still hear the blower motor running.
it sounds like your ignition switch, i ran into a similar problem, your power goes through your ignition switch for your blower motor.
I will assume that this van is not a cargo style van with the 4.3L V6 but rather a smaller van that has Electric fans and say that you have a bad relay, But alot of the newer vehicles like this the fan does run, but only for a few minutes after the key is off, Anything after about 15 minutes is to long.
A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
