Automatic or Manual ? Automatic- the least expensive method is to approach a local school with an Automotive program specializing in Automatic Transmissions , that is if time is not an issue - it may take several weeks or months - next cheapest method is a reputable Automatic Transmission rebuilder, have them install a rebuilt into your vehicle. I have had some junkyards (good ones ) do some good and reasonable work on automatics too. Ask around friends relatives etc Manual Trans - same basic answer - if time is not an issue try a good used transmission installed at a junk yard - Rebuilt manual transmissions can be very expensive depending on the vehicle (ie 4 wheel drive) Good luck
I have acquired an Isuzu Rodeo 2000 4x2 model with a v6 3.2L and it only had 50,000 miles! The day after I got it the Automatic transmission died on me. i had it rebuilt and it only lasted 2 months! My mechanic suggested I go on line and find a new/used one...but have recently read on-line that the best bet is to rebuild and dump it! Is that a real suggestion...I love the car and the ride...need help? Suggestions please
The Transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles or 24 months whatever comes first
Mine did this for a few months and then stopeed working entirely. I still need to get it foxed before it starts to get hot this summer.
Neck-popping could be arthritis("cervical spondylosis")...The hip "grinding" could also be arthritis, but I would expect a lot of groin pain to accompany that... Severe arthritis pain is normally felt in the groin.
NO.. Not even close. You can not use a transmission over the year of 1999. Chevy REDESIGNED there transmissions and engines in the late months of 1999
Every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first: Check/replenish the manual transmission lubricant. - Haynes Manual #36071
I just had that problem 3 months ago. It means your transmission is about to die. Get it in to the dealer ASAP. The transmission needs to be replaced. BOOCO BUCKS
Check the spark plug cables and spark plugs themselves. I had the same problem about 3 months ago, and it was a bad plug cable and a bad plug as well.
Toasted bread can be conserved or preserved by grating or grinding it into fine bread crumbs. Completely dry crumbs can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature or in the freezer for several months.
I had this happen when my transmission went bad.. I'd recommend taking it in for service at the least..
