Made in 1874.
A Colt single action army (Pre-War) with the serial # 305068 would have been produced around 1908.
Would need serial number to answer. It is a 1960 mod.
Would need model name to answer.
made 1904.....................
Proofhouse.com shows 1970 ending with serial number 24542F , so it would probably be sometime in the middle to late 70's
Your Colt single-action army peacemaker would be 127 years old, made in 1885,
The records I have end in 1978 starting with SA 01001, so it would seem to be a few years after that.
i saw a model 66 single shot lever action on guns America for 285.00
While it may be possible to age your rifle/shotgun.I would need the maker of the firearm in question, the model number/or name of the firearm.I would also need the type of firearm(rifle, shotgun, handgun) the type of firearms action(single shot, pump action, semi auto). Also include the barrel length, caliber etc.along with the serial number that you have posted to have any hope of identifying your firearm and it,s age.
Would have to see it. Digital pictures would help. sales@countrygunsmith.net
The records I have show 1979 starting with serial number SA01001, so the best I could figure, yours would be possibly a year or two after that.
