I honestly have no idea but i am wondering the same thing. My husband is mexican(really light complexion to the point my parents thought he was white)and i am black(Milk Chocolate, not too dark). We are trying to conceive and i wonder what our little boy or girl will look like. It really doesn't matter either way i would love our baby the same but i cant help wondering.

First of all, not to be insulting or rude, but this really is an ignorant and stupid question for several reasons. 1) Black is a "race" and is not necessarily nation-specific since one can be from any nation and any nationality on Earth and still be Black. 2) Mexican is a nationality and therefore one can only be Mexican if legally a citizen or legally born in Mexico and is therefore specific to one nation - Mexico. 3) Half Black and half Mexican would be akin to a statement such as "half American and half Tennessean" or "half Canadian and half Quebecian" or "half White and half Floridian." What about this question, "What would a Black baby who was half American look like?" Statements like these are not mutually exclusive. One cannot be half Black (a race) and half Mexican (a nationality). It's two separate categories. However, the average American idiot these days cannot seem to wrap their brains around these simple, yet, logical facts. Mexicans, which are a nationality, can be of any race just as Americans can be. Many Mexicans are White, predominantly descended from Spaniards and secondly Frenchmen, with smaller populations descending back to German, Irish, Russian, Lebanese, etc., settlers. There's even Mexicans that are Black - primarily brought over by the Spaniards during the slave trade or those that escaped the Caribbean and hid out in Mexico. However, the largest population of Mexicans are those of indigenous stock such as Aztecs and other Aboriginal peoples. These Brown people are actually descended from ancient populations of Blacks and Whites that mingled thousands of years ago. The other Mexicans that make up a very large percentage are the recent Mixes or Mestizos which are Brown/White mixtures. So, the question is, which Mexican are you referring to when you speak of that Mixed baby? What if the baby is half Black American and half Black Mexican? Wouldn't the baby still be Black? Of course! Black in race, Mixed in nationality. Here's a question. What would a baby who is half White and half Canadian look like? Sounds kind of dumb when asked like that don't it! You cannot be part race and part nationality! All people within a race are that race, but not all people of a nationality are of the same race. Hispanic is not a race, Latino is not a race, Arab is not a race, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Native American, Pacific Islander, European, African, etc., etc., etc., are not races. They are continents, parts of continents, regions, countries, conglomerates, etc. I guess Seal's not Black, but rather British. William Shatner's not White, he's Canadian. The late Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) is not White, but Australian. Why not? If Salma Hayek's not White but Mexican and Felix Trinidad not Black but Puerto Rican, then Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wasn't Black, but Georgian. Or wait, was he American? You see the problem? Hopefully so. Race, nationality, ethnicity, and continentality are all separate categories and must be treated as such or it becomes way too convaluted and without substance or common sense!
