The 12 Men were the 12 Disciples. The man seated next to Jesus depicted in the famous Last Supper painting is John (not John the Baptist) son of Zebedee, the author of the Book of John and the three Epistles of John. John and James (a/k/a James the Greater), son of Zebedee and another disciple, were brothers. Peter, who some consider to be Jesus' strongest follower because he would take immediate action on whatever Jesus requested and who had a brother named Andrew who was a disciple as well. Andrew previously alerted Peter of Christs' arrival. Matthew the author of the Book of Matthew; Philip (not much said about him); Bartholomew; James, son of Alphaeus (a/k/a James the Lesser), Thomas, the disciple who did not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead. Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot (not Simon Peter) and Judas Iscariot (the betrayer of Jesus) Note: After Jesus' resurrection, Matthias was the replacement for Judas Iscariot since he had hung himself.
Addition
Well done the first answerer. May I just point out one unimportant thing and that is that even though the twelve were disciples they were in fact Apostles for each were ordained by Christ to the Prieshood thereby giving each the authority to go and preach the gosple.

This was categorized under 'The Last Supper', so I'm going to conclude that you were referring to that. The Last Supper was not bad, however what proceeded the day after and what the Last Supper stood for is rather grotesque. The Last Supper was, in the New Testament, the Last Supper that Jesus ate with his disciples, and the one in which he gave his last words of wisdom. The proceeding day, Jesus was set to be crucified, and hence the celebration of Easter.
For purely cultural reasons. Some call it the last meal, for instance. To some, "dinner" and "supper" mean the same meal, for others they have both a dinner and a supper everyday, for instance on a farm: breakfast in the morning, then lunch, then dinner, then after the last work of the day, supper.
There are several names: The Last Dinner The Final Supper The Final Dinner The Last Buffet The Final Evening Meal
