Political Parties do not have presidents. They have representatives, but not presidents.
Supreme Court Justices do not necessarily have parties because they do not run for a political seat. The criteria for a supreme court justice has to be someone who is familiar with the law such as a former lawyer. If Supreme Court justices ran on a political platform that could complicate the position they hold because many political parties have money or a platform they run on.
George Washington was a "Federalist," although in his time, there weren't clear-cut political parties. Washington himself was set against any divisions brought on by political parties.

Political parties are formed around whatever people believe is important in their lives and the health of their nation. The more information that people have about what is important in government the less they cling to simple alliances based on ethnic or religious affiliations. The more corruption there is in a country the more people form political parties around which they can exclude others from the ill gotten gains of corruption.
A writtten statement of a political parties beliefs and positions is called its "platform".
