Society was shocked and dismayed. It also became cynical. The citizens of the USA lost their Ideological Innocence and became more hardened. Just 4 days after he was brutally murdered, JFK's foreign and domestic policies were being overturned.

His plan for withdrawal from Vietnam (NSAM 263) was overturned by NSAM 273 signed by LBJ. According to John Judge, the JCS had plans already drawn up for Vietnam and they were put into effect the day after JFK's funeral.

The United States notes that he ordered printed by Executive Order 11110 were withdrawn from circulation. Thus, the Federal Reserve was able to keep loaning money at interest to the government which created a national debt that can never be repaid. The ever-increasing national debt is passed on from generation to generation. The debt is always greater than the amount of money in circulation to repay that debt. JFK recognized that and tried to end the Fed's dominance over the economy of the US.

JFK's attempt to achieve détente with the Soviet Union and end the Cold War by secret negotiations with Nikita Khrushchev was derailed.

JFK's attempted rapprochement with Fidel Castro was canceled when LBJ came to office and thus we have had an economic embargo against Cuba that has lasted over half a century.

JFK recognized that the Third World turmoil since the end of World War II was an attempt by former colonies of European powers to achieve national sovereignty and independence and he supported these struggles. Today, people fighting for freedom in their own countries against outside aggression are referred to as "terrorists."

There are many more examples but time and space would require volumes to be written. If JFK has lived out his term this country would be a far different place and we would not have had the constant wars, loss of civil liberties and economic destruction of America you see in the media day after day.

JFK was loved and respected around the world by the people and national leaders because of his quest for peace. He gave hope to those who were devoid of hope and sought changes in the US that would challenge the Established Order and benefit all Americans.
