What were some living condtions in the Industrial Revolution?

Water pumps were public and England had a major problem separating waste (poo)

Water and clean water, most people died because of cholera, the government didn't care.

John snow investigated this theory though most thought the smell caused the decease.

Joseph Bazalgette was a keen inventor, he had the ideas of containing this vile waste that was on the streets, he couldn't build these sewers though.

Parliament didn't care, until the water spread into the Thames river causing a smell so bad they stopped meeting on Sunday, they finally accepted Bazalgette's idea, years were spent designing the sewers, when they were finally designed military training artillery fire destroyed the half finished project in training, years were wasted.

Short answer: poor, near starving conditions, humans were used to mass produce instead, cholera was the devil and many people worried about it, a fair few wanted to do something and a small few did, the issue was only resolved when greedy parliament were effected.

The outcome? The world got yet another British invention we couldn't live without today.
