Houses looked a lot like the older homes you will see in any town or city of America. They had not started using stucco yet so houses were clapboard covered. Some of the houses were smaller than they are today. They had the same asphalt tiled rooftops. In some parts of the country they were brick. In England they were stone, brick, wood style. They had a lot of town homes in London. The villages and small towns had really cute houses. Once the homes were bombed they went to using a quick assembly type house construction.

Well,after WW2 in everywhere there was massive rebuilding of the massive damages,in some cases it was cheaper to build a new houses but most of them where rebuild.
