Best Answer

The Salt March was a peace movement in which Gandhi has participated. Indian citizens protested on a salt mill and the British officers stationed at the mill beat the protesters senseless. However, the protester's remained pacifistic and showed no sign of rebellion. All in all, it was a major movement in which the Indian citizen's participated in and it ended up causing nationalistic feelings in other countries.
