To achieve total and tyrannical power. He was a complete fanatic. He wanted to annihilate all those he believed inferior. Despite the fact that really only disabled people were inferior (but really not by much), he tried to eliminate tens of millions of innocent people because of his beliefs.

In the World War II era, Adolf Hitler's political agenda may be summarized as consisting of two parts. First, he intended (and in fact achieved) absolute control over Germany itself. Second, he intended (but never was able) to place Europe and surrounding lands under the hegemony of German (and Nazi) rule.
