blood sugar is measured by a pick of the finger and putting you blood on a small plastic stick which you then put into a device. this will then tell you what your blood sugar is and weather it is over or low.

There are many ways to tell if your blood sugar is low. Dizziness,headaches, hunger, sweating, nausea. If you already know your a diabetic use you meter, call your doctor, or go to the emergency room if its dangerously low. extreme high and lows in blood sugar are not good, and ignoring the problem could result in having Diabetes, or if you already have it you could go into a coma, loose limbs, worsen organ malfunction and many other severities.
