Child labour still exists in many countries, but mostly in Asia, where they make children as young as 6 make clothes, toys and shoes for our country to sell and get money for. They only get roughly 50p a day, and are treated badly.

Unicef estimates that about 218 million children between the ages of five and seventeen are in the world's labor force. This abuse isn't limited to the poorer nations of Africa and Asia. By their estimate 2.5 million children labor in industrialized and transitional nations.
Country's that still has child labour would be

. china

. India

. Asia

. South Africa

. South America

and that's just some !

There are still child labor laws in the United States. Each state has different laws regarding who can work and how many hours. Some states also regulate what hours of the day young persons can work.

It's ironic that the United States is a huge advocate against child labor around the world, even when child labor still exists today in American soil. Agricultural jobs tend to have the most child labor because the government has never bothered to pass laws to protect agricultural workers, specifically those that pick vegetables.
