Yes. Although several species of penguins live down around Antarctica (which is definitely NOT warm) many species live in temperate areas. They are found along the coasts of Argentina and Chile in South America, the southern coast of Africa, southern coast of Australia, and New Zealand. There are even some that live on the Galápagos Islands which lie at the equator. Note: this is only possible because of the cold, rich waters of the Antarctic Humbolt Current that flow around the Galápagos Islands.
