Centipedes are carnivorous. Their diet varies a bit depending on the species. Generally, they prey on smaller insects such as small worms, moth larvae, small slugs, Spiders... and even other centipedes. However, some larger species of centipedes have been known to prey on small invertebrates and certain species of centipedes will even eat plants if they cannot find other source of food.

centipedes are known as carnivores. they eat other insects such as flies,small spiders,worms,moths,roaches,soft skinned insects,such as pill bugs, and are known to eat other centipedes. they have also been known to eat decaying plants when they can't find any other food source. they are active during the day as well as night. they prefer to stay under rocks during the day to stay away from the sunlight.they can be found under rocks,bricks,stones,and under decaying wood.
