One would have to consider the start-up costs - surveys before tree cutting, building of roads to the area, the work required to cut and stack the trees, the trucking of the logs to the mill, the trucking of the wood chips and smaller wood to the pulp mill, the managing and transport of the 20% recycled paper required by law, and then the final product coming from the pulp mill in the form of paper. Good luck determining what a ream would actually cost. But it would be fun to try to!

It has chemical energy which can be released when it is burned. It may have gravitational potential energy if it is in a position where it can fall. It will also have kinetic energy if in motion such as a paper airplane.
