There were many different types of machinery and weapons used during the war. Rifles, torpedo's, gas and machine guns were all weapons of choice. Tanks, Zeppelins and planes were all used as well.
More countries were involved and the technology was more advanced. WW1 had planes, but they didn't have the power or technology of the WW2 planes. Not to mention the development of atomic weapons.
it affected it by the oponents in the war being able to see what the others are doing using planes
Because you could get hit by enemy planes ! :(
Planes during WW1 were used as surveillance and if they wanted to drop bombs the pilot had to physically pick up a bomb and drop it. In WW2 they were used for air to air combat and could actually mechanically drop bombs.
No. The science hadn't progressed that far. The first use of air power and bombing was in WW1. The nuclear bomb wasn't developed until the end of WW2 and dropped on Japan with 2 bombs on 2 cities. The bombs were named "Big Boy " and "Little Boy " and were literally shoved out of the planes. The men in the planes were hit by the blast and years later died of cancer. Millions in Japan died, suffered burns, or radiation poisoning.
Zeppelins have never been used by the Indian Air Force.
Bombs from aeroplanes. Tanks. Poison Gas.
'Sopwith camels' and 'sopwith snipes' were commonly used. They were just simple biplanes that dropped bombs on enemy trenches. Look up images on a search engine for what the planes looked like.Answer:Take a look at Wikipedia which has 141 pages listed under "Aircraft of World war 1." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:World_War_I_aircraft
There were 70 types of planes in ww1
shoot down other planes and dropped bombs and spikes on enemy trenches
first use: they were one of the first planes to fly successfully. They were used in ww1 and the first part of ww2. Now they are used in air clubs, air shows and as private planes
limited at best they were mainly used for reconissance. since planes at the time could not carry large if any payloads of bombs, the airplane was basically a no- factor in ww1. it wasnt until ww2 that airplanes could carry more bombs and really control the course ofa battle.
