You wear compression shorts like boxer-briefs under soccer kits ect. They are comfortable to wear but kind of like tight underwear. The nylon- lycra type are comfortable to wear.
Compression shorts are tight but not too tight, and are very comfortable to wear. I would not recommend wearing any underwear under them. Some are designed to use a "cup" for certain sports. They are fine just the way they are, even for non-sports reasons. They can be worn as underwear most of the time.

∙ 9y agoWith no underwear, they're meant to be worn next to the skin for wicking or moisture absorption and non chafing. so Go commando and enjoy.
If you have hairy legs and the anti-slipping stretchable band at the bottom bugs you, just roll them up.
they are also meant to be worn skin tight with the inner part (called chamois) snugly pressed into the butt and genitals so that they dont move around while cycling. the right fit is VERY important.

∙ 14y agoDepends. If you're talking about the tight fitting lycra kind with sewn in padding usually people don't wear anything under those, it'd kinda spoil the point of them. If you're talking about loose fit bike shorts, then there are underpants with sewn in padding that can be used under those. Basically what people are after is to put as few and as flat seams as possible between themselves and their bike saddle.
