Rabbits will create their own nests so you need only provide the materials, outside of the box for them to create it.
They will make the nest from hay and fur.
So, provide plenty of extra hay and straw, you could also provide newspaper... they of course will supply their own fur. But you could help this along by saving hair that you have groomed from them in the last few weeks and putting that in the area of the nest box also.

∙ 15y agoHey!Wild baby bunnies should be kept outside as much as posable, because it's there natural habitat outside, but if you want theminside, they can be inside. All you have to use for bedding is.. Dry hay and grass.. the grass is opptinal.

You cannot use a cardboard box that is a full square with a hole in it. That is more commonly used for a little playhouse/privacy for your rabbit. You can use a lid of a cardboard box, but shorten it for the size of your rabbit's size.
