the chambers = ventriculus dexter and sinister (in latin) are separated by a wall called septum interventriculare.

this wall has got two parts: septum membranaceum (it's weaker and without muscles, this is the upper side of the septum interventriculare) and septum musculare, which is with muscles.

An inter Atrial septumseparatestwo Atria. An inter Ventricular septumseparates two Ventricles. Right Atrio-Ventricular septum separates right Atrium from Ventricle. This septum contains a Tricuspid valve. Which allow a flow of blood from right Atrium to right Ventricle.Left Atrio-Ventricular septum separates left Ventricle from left Ventricle. This septum contains left Atrio-Ventricular valve. Also called Mitral valve. Then you have two additional valves. One in Pulmonary Aorta called as Pulmonary valve. One in Systemic Aorta called as Aortic valve. They both allow flow towards aortas and not backwards.
