What needs to be done to become a NFL player?

The vast majority of NFL players played in high school, then college before being drafted or signed onto an NFL team.

NFL teams used to, more commonly done in the league's early years, sign people who had little experience in football and who may not have gone to college, but you'd be very hard-pressed to find a player today who didn't play in high school, let alone college.

Becoming an NFL running back requires skill, physical ability, hard work, and luck. At a minimum, a player would need to play College Football, usually at an NCAA Division I university in order to even be looked at by professional scouts.

To become a good running back you have to follow a rigid program including but not limited to paying attention in team meetings, don't shirk your exercise program,practice, practice, practice. Study any materials available about your next eg. players who may be hurt and playing at less than 100%. Oh yeah you should be playing at 110%. Lastly for my knowledge you have to be born with some talent that you can build on.
