What should you bring on Christmas dinner?

Definitely ask your host what they'd like.You can even do things on a budget,and short time such as:

Chex mix recipes-They have gluten free recipes,there's a lot of recipes to choose from

Jell-o recipes-you won't believe how many there are,and they look so good-also good for diabetics if you get sugar-free

Cashews,roasted almonds,pistachios or other nuts

Side dishes like boxed stuffing,or make mashed potatoes,a veggie tray,salad maybe bring almonds,dried cranberries,and a couple cans of mandrin Oranges on the side for guests to add in to the salad,or even look online for more ideas. Answers.Yahoo.com is a site that will be helpful as well.

Drinks-coffee,Hot Chocolate with a couple bags of marshmallows,pop,milk,eggnog,cranberry juice,etc. and paper/plastic cups

Paper towels and paper plates-also if the host doesn't have a dishwasher some dish soap and towels are appreciated if you offer to help wash or dry the dishes after the meal.

My parents have been hosting Christmas lately,and they say they don't want Christmas gifts.While I usually get them some anyhow,I also bring a 'hostess gift' which can be some cashews or you can put in andes mints,coffee,just something nice,and a gift card to go out to eat.After all the hard work my mom just did a nice dinner out will be well appreciated.
