What religions were combined to make Sikhism?

there were no religion combined to make Sikhism but it was the Hindu religion turned into Sikhism as there was no one to protect hindus from Muslim emperor in India.

so guru gobind singh ji made a new religion who will fight against the injustice by anyone on anyone and will protect other reigious communities.

Sikhs were given different identity so that they can't neglect themselves from bring a soldier of guru gobind singh ji.

that is why all religions are allowed into Sikhism. there is no religious restrictions in Sikhism on anyone of any religion.

Sikhism is made up of beliefs and ideals from Buddhism, Hinduism , Jainism and Islam. Because Sikhism has a heavy focus on practicality and non-idolism as well as equality, only some ideas and beliefs are used in Sikhism from these religions. Interestingly Jainism also contributes to ancient texts of Sikhism even though it's ideals and basic beliefs differ greatly in the issues of caste systems and gender equality. The Sikh holy book is compromised of over three thousand poems and hums from 900 fakirs (Muslim holy men or devotees), pundit (Hindu priests), yogis and Buddhist monks. What I found very interesting was that the holy book actually tells no stories or gives no explanations of life or the after life but includes poetic praises of god instead.
