This seems to have an obvious answer. You have to lift and move people ALL OF THE TIME. You carry them up and down stairs, from the floor to the stretcher, and not all of them will be at a healthy weight. You have to carry equipment/bags. Also, if you work parades, football games, and other similar events you have to walk constantly and rush to a call. Theres also a cardio part involved with testing to be an EMS worker.
