Brains and discipline. Get a science related bachelor's degree, apply to med school, do well enough to get a slot in a residency somewhere, and do your multi-year residency in ob/gyn. If you aren't smart or disciplined enough to finish a bachelor's in Biology with at least a 3.5 GPA you probably won't cut it.

Answer

Here are the steps involved in becoming an OB/GYN doctor:

1.Pre-medical college degree: First you need to complete four years undergraduate college degree in related field to fulfill the pre-med college coarse requirement. You will then need to take MCAT and get good scores. You should do some health related research project or otherwise volunteer in an hospital or other health related field to improve your chances. Getting accepted into a medical school is the most competitive step in your career plan.

2.Medical school:Once you are in a medical school, you are one step closer to your career goal. You have already crossed the most difficult barrier. In your medical school, you should try to get more electives in OB/GYN related clinical rotations. You should develop a good relationship with OB/GYN attending physicians and talk to them about your career goals. Their recommendation letter will play a vital role in achieving your next goal- which is to get a residency training in OB/GYN.

3.Residency: Your residency application actually starts during the final year of your medical college. You have to finish your USMLE board exams. The exam scores do matter but your overall medical school performance and recommendation letters matter more than your scores. You have to apply for OB/GYN residency positions, get interview calls and give interview at a few places and then wait for the match. After the match, you will find out if you were accepted into OB/GYN residency. OB/GYN residency is normally for three years.

4.Licensing and board certification: After you graduate from your residency, you have to get a license in the state in which you want to practice your profession. Although not required, you will probably get a board certification in your field to become a recognized "medical expert". theres a place downtown town where the freaks will come around theres a hole in the wall its a dirty free for all when they turn me on when they take it off when they take it off everybody take it off
