According to a music marketing survey in 2002 (latest I saw on my search), about 42,000,000 adults listen to country radio stations nationwide.
Another report I read for the CMA, which came out in April of 2009, said that 2 or 5 adults age 18-54 'qualify' as Country Music fans. Read that report in the link below).
