The percentage is 94 .But people, i know that 2012 sounds realistic but it doesn't mean that the world will be destroyed on the day .It only means we have to start keeping care of our environment.So recycling,switching off light's,less computer games or dsi's.Mainly using less electricity.That could make a huge difference to our planet,plus the ozone layer will get smaller not bigger.I know iv'e answered more than one question but this was the only place i could write this useful message on.So people don't be scared and do as much as you can for helping our planet you will be very proud of yourself because i have already started to do some of these things.

Exactly the same that they will happen any year in history. The chances added up are chances of planatoid screwing Eath's gravity: 0 due to the fact that the planatoid does not exist. Chances of yellostone to blow it's cap and engulf the world in fire: about 0 since it has'n for the past few million years. Chances of a solar storm destroying the Earth: 0 due to the fact that it only affects electrical sturctures and has no effect on the magnetosphere. Chances of moon crashing to Earth: about 0, it hasn't changed orbit yet. Chances of comet striking Earth: about 0, we would of found it already. That's just about everything so the combined chances are 1% out of 100, The hundred is not a percent but the 1 is.

The world is not going to end. Here is the reason. There are many concerns about the world ending on December 21st, 2012. Doomsayers claim that Nibiru is a brown dwarf. However, its easy to see that there is really no such thing as a brown dwarf near the Earth. At a distance of Pluto's orbit, Nibiru would be a billion times brighter. If Nibiru was anywhere near the inner solar system in space its pull would afftect all the other planets orbits, and we'd see that. Believing in the Nibiru is pretty much stupid and crap. Also, the Doomsayers would make you believe that these things will happen suddenly, displacing everything in a matter of minutes A magnetic pole shift is pretty much a slow process and it takes over thousands of years and would not be noticeable for us humans. And to answer your question about the Mayan calender ending on December 21 of 2012 it really doesn't end. It merely clicks over from 12.19.19.17.19 to 13.0.0.0.0 on that same date. Thats like the exact same as our calender the same as our calender ending on December 31st. The year ends and a new year starts. So its a 100% true.
