the cerebellum
thalamus
it is located below the hypothalamus.
Pituitary gland is not part of the brain though it is closest to the brain lying on sella turcica below the hypothalamus inside the skull.
Hypothalamus is not a secretion and not stored as such any where. It is the part of brain. it is situated below the thalamus.
medulla pons cerebellum thalamus
The medull oblongata is connected directly above the begining of the brain stem and below the pons, it is part of what is known as the lower brain. It also contains the heart control centre
the part is different for men and women....the part for men that testostorone come from is the just below the part of the body most men think with - the nutz!
It loooks like a big, wrinkly, gray sponge The Hypothalamus is the control center of all autonomic regulatory activities of the body and it is no bigger then a the size of an almond.
The hypothalamus is part of an organ - that being the brain. It isn't a gland, because it only secretes hormones locally. The pituitary is a gland because it secretes hormones into the bloodstream for distant effects.
The part of the brain just below the thalamus; it is a gland. It controls feeding, breathing, drinking, temperature, and the release of many hormones.
The diencephalon.
