∙ 7y agoGenerally Scalds and Burns both are caused due to exposure to excessive heat. Scald is caused due to something wet material which is very hot (hot coffee or steam) and Skin Burn is caused by Dry heat (when you accidentally touches any hot material like Hot container).
Don'ts for scalds and Burns :-
- If after burn any cloth has stuck to your skin, don't immediately peel it off.
- Don't apply any ointment, cream, ice or powder to the affected area.
- Please don't scratch any Blister.
