Try if you do a a lot of stop start driving the timing chain may go at around 300k you'll know if it does cause the engine will get hard to start and run erratically when it does start and its about a 500 pound job to get it done
yes but the tentioner will give up long before the chain, tentioner replace at 90/100,000 then the whole lot at double that, and tentioner has been updated as some are real crap resulting in jumped chain and this causes cracked camshaft housing/resulting in new head as housing and head are a matched pair
when do i change the timeing belt on my 1999 ford transit 100 2.5d
300.00
after how many miles do u change the timming belt on ford focus
no its has a chain!
120000 miles for first change
45k Ok they have a belt and chain which both need to be changed 150,000 miles or 10 years,on my 3rd connect so know a little about them..
Actually , it has a timing CHAIN
The timing belt on a 2006 Ford Fusion should be changed when the car's mileage has reached 75,000 miles. This reduces the risk of the belt potentially breaking or slipping due to wear.
10 years or 100,000 miles
The alternator belt is classed as a "stretchy" belt by Ford and is not re-usable.
That is illegal
60 ,000 MILES , YOU MUST ALSO CHANGE THE TIMING BELT TENSIONER EVERY TIME
