∙ 15y agoThe math needed in college should not be a problem if you have a solid math background from high school. The problem is getting into a Marine Biology program at a good school in the first place. To do that will require an excellent showing on the SAT, because you will be competing with the best and the brightest for a limited number of slots. Doing well on the SAT means being very comfortable with math up through Algebra II. It would be better if you could get through Trig and Calculus in high school, which would mean taking Algebra II in 10th grade. Hope this helps, and good luck!
