a Classical guitar is sometimes made out of a type of spanish rubber product from the ancient tyroba tree. The bark of the tree is peeled off revealing faint yet traceable grain lines which eventually are laminated together to form the back and sides of the guitar body. The top of the guitar is made only from the uppermost branches of the tyroba, those exposed more to sunlight in the early years of the trees long life. Hence, the top of the guitar is usually lighter in color than the sides. (sometimes the sides are darkened in construction by rubbing a rare type of spanish bat dung through the formed grain before the finish is applied.)

  • Tops are usually made from woods such as spruce, cedar, or mahogany.
  • Back and sides are usually mahogany, rosewood, or even sapele, cherry, koa, ash or ebony. (Cheaper ones may use basswood or nato, which is Eastern Mahogany.)
  • Necks are generally of mahogany or maple. Cheaper woods such as nato are also used.
  • Fretboard and bridge are usually rosewood or ebony.
  • Metals are used for the hardware.
  • Plastic may be used for the binding, nut, and saddle. The nut and saddle may also be formed of bone or similar material.

Classical guitar cases are typically made of wood. Usually a harder wood like oak or ash for durability. The interior is lined with a felt like material to protect the instrument from scratching.

wood, definitely. Animal gut for the strings, probably. Metal would be unlikely to be involved in the construction of the first guitar (but it's not impossible).
