∙ 8y agoWhales, of course, LIVE in salt water, and that's what they drink. This may well be true of other marine mammals (porpoise, dolphin, seal, walrus, sea lion, etc) but I KNOW it's true of whales. They have extra-large kidneys to allow them to deal with sea water.
