The Golan Heights.
The majority of the Syrian Quneitra Governate is under Israeli Occupation as a result of the Six-Day War and UN Resolution 242. In 1981, Israel annexed this territory, which is now called the Golan Heights.
The Israeli annexation is not recognized by any international authority. According to UN Resolution 242, Syria has the right to take the Golan Heights back in return for a lasting peace treaty.
Syria and Israel theoretically share a border, but they are separated by the UNDOF forces which occupy a no-man's land between them. However, Syria and Israel both border Jordan and Lebanon. In the case of Lebanon, there is no land border with any nation other than Syria or Israel.
Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt share a land border with Israel. Also the Mediterranean Sea, the earth's atmosphere, and the Palestinian territories, although none of these are countries.
Yes, but you can't do the opposite. Also, note that the border between Lebanon and Israel is shut. To go by land, you must cross into Syria, then to Jordan and then to Israel. Given the situation in Syria today, it would be more advisable to fly straight to Jordan to "cross the border".
Israel was created in the British Mandate of Palestine, a piece of land which contains parts of the historical regions of Ancient Israel, Palaestina, Judea, Canaan, Greater Syria (Bilaad Sham) and the Land of Israel.

Israel captured the most land from Egypt because of its acquisition of the Sinai Peninsula (from 1967-1982).
No it's not. It borders Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and the Mediterranean Sea. --mewile95 (lizzie p.)
In 1967 Egypt, Jordan and Syria all attempted to destroy Israel. Their plan backfired and the parts of their countries that were closest to Israel were captured by Israel. Allthough Israel offered to return the land to the aggressors for a peace agreement it was refused so Israel has annexed the land till it's neighbors agree to peace.
That is an area covered by Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Israel.
