Assuming that by the time we have restaurants in space we will already have built space cities, space stations having populations on the order of 100,000; such restaurants will really be no different than restaurants on earth.
These space cities will provide simulated gravity at normal earth levels via the centrifugal force of a spinning section. The crew of these space cities will be perhaps 1000 at most, the rest of the people living there will be scientists, workers, and the families of these people. These space cities will be entirely self sufficient, providing all the energy, food, water, air, etc. that they need. There will be many people living there that have never lived any place else.
The food will thus taste no different than it does in your neighborhood restaurant down the street.
Although plans for such space cities were developed before 1956 and many people expected them to be operating in the early 1970s, nobody seriously expects such things to ever be built at any time in the future.
