∙ 13y agoI just did a little research on this, due to finding one on my front step this morning. The brown beetle with white stripes that I saw, seems to be a Ten-lined June Beetle. No clue as to if it is the same as the one you saw, but it could be.

∙ 15y agoIf the stripes run from side to side rather than head to tail and it has very long antennae, it sounds like an alder beetle.
