Depending on where you live, there may be age-related restrictions on various jobs. . Some ideas: fast food, library clerk, delivering newspapers (yes, you can make money doing it), possibly a gas station might let you run a cash register. . You could also start your own small business such as doing yard work or shoveling snow or delivering stuff on your bicycle. . Try a farm or get a paper route, or baby sitting . I work at a local bowling alley, they have a room for parents to drop off their children while they bowl on leagues. The bowling alley pays me because this way they get more people to sign up for leagues. Sometimes parents will also tip. . Work at a "Pick-Your Own" Farm. You will get paid a decent amount. For example, in the fall you can go to apple orchards and offer to pick up the apples that have fallen on the ground. I used to do this and get paid 50 cents a basket.
