Counterfeit Island was the 10th island, released on January 4, 2010.
Astro Knights Island (9th island, June 2009) was followed by Counterfeit Island (10th island, January 2010).
This occurred because Reality TV Island was not completed in time for the release date in January, 2010. (Early Access 4 weeks earlier.)
Reality TV Island was released as the 11th island, in March, 2010.

∙ 13y agoIn early August, 2009, Reality TV Island (slated to be Poptropica's 10th island) was removed from the schedule. It had been set for release in the Summer of 2009. This was the second time that the island was shelved since its development began in 2007. It's place as the 10th island was taken by Counterfeit Island.
It was finally released in January, 2010, as the 11th island in Poptropica.

*Released in the same time period as Game Show Island was the first of a series of members-only quests called "Legendary Swords" -- it premiered in the Poptropica Store on November 11, 2011. (Non-members could play the first demo, but could not continue the quest.)
