The old process for converting iron ore into iron was to use a bloom furnace and pour the the metal into large ingots. By taking the ingots and heating and pounding them and repeating the process eventually most of the impurities from the iron could be removed. The resulting iron was called wrought iron. The term now has come to mean any low carbon iron that has been formed by heating and hammering it.

(3)Industrial : Condenser tubes, infired heat exchangers, skimmer bars etc.
(4) Rail road and marine : Diesel exhaust and air brake piping etc.
Wrought iron is primarily iron, which is subsequently wrought. The ironworker (blacksmith) must take care that the iron does not become overwrought in the process. And of course, it would be unwise to attempt to work with the iron if the ironworker himself is overwrought.
The bloomery procedure delivered created press specifically from metal, cast iron or pig iron were the beginning materials utilized as a part of the delicacy produce and puddling heater. Pig iron and cast iron have higher carbon content than fashioned iron, however have a lower softening point than iron or steel.
Wrought iron is fairly pure iron and is thus ferrous. See related link for more information.
Cast iron, wrought iron and steel are all essentially alloys of iron and carbon.Wrought iron is iron with a low carbon content, it was used in place of Cast iron is iron that has been shaped by being poured into a cast.
Wrought iron is the closest to pure iron you can get, as far as i know, with it being 99-99.8% Fe. There are many processes for producing wrought iron. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrought_iron for more details.
Wrought iron is purer than pig iron. When purifying iron ore in a furnace furnace, air is passed through a "charge" of iron ore, limestone, and some form of carbon, charcoal or coal. This "smelting" process is a chemical change: the molten iron produced is tapped from the furnace as "pig" iron. Pig iron is iron with a high carbon content as well as some sulfur. Due to it's impurities pig iron has a lower melting point and is acceptable for casting but not forging. Wrought Iron is made much the same way with the exception of the carbon source being used is coke, a purified form of bituminous coal. Coke being a purer form of carbon burns smokeless and imparts little to no carbon to the iron allowing more impurities to burn out. This byproduct is wrought iron. Wrought iron is acceptable for either casting or forging.
iron (i.e., pure) is a metal / element in the periodic table, but types of iron are compounds like wrought iron, pig iron cast iron., etc.
The process for installing wrought iron railings is a few simple steps. The first step would be to measure the distance and length of the area for installing wrought iron railings. Secondly, these railings would need to put into place. These railings can normally be driven into the ground after digging out an opening in the ground with a post digger. Next, there would need to be concrete poured around the post after inserting the railing's stake. Finally, after the concrete has set, one would begin lay the fencing rails in place. After the security of the rails, one would have completed the process of installing wrought iron railings.
The first I-beams made entirely of wrought iron were produced in Paris about 1847. The Trenton Iron Works in Trenton, New Jersey, began rolling wrought-iron I-beams in 1854

The compositing for wrought iron is 98.5 Fe
Wrought Iron
Pig iron is generally an intermediate product of the wrought iron and steel making process. Pig iron is virtually useless due to the very high impurity content. "Pure" is a strange quantification of the comparison between pig iron and wrought iron. Pig iron is pure pig iron and wrought iron is pure wrought iron if there is a "standard" for the respective materials. I'm guessing that the answer you want is that wrought iron is "more pure."
