The 1961 coin is rarer (only 300 minted) and is worth about $2000 depending on condition. Rarest of all, a few of the 1961 restrikes were minted with "18" and "76" in the stars. These can be distinguished from originals by examining the 27 fleurs-de-lis that ring the edge of the coin. The fleurs-de-lis are SMALLER in the restrikes, LARGER in the original.
