my family has a 1916 knee action luger that my grandfather brought back from WWI. My Uncle, an avid gun collector and former police officer for 27 years, offered my grandpa $15,000 for it in the early 80's. He was the kind of guy that would certainly not offer what it was worth, so my guesstimate would be well over 20K (at that time). However, this weapon is in exceptionally good shape, almost mint condition.
