Your revolver would fall into the late military contract range between 1878 and 1891. These are serialed between 24000 and 136000. Without more info on barrel length and condition of the finish value will be hard to determine. If you are truly interested get a factory letter from colt. These are the values according to my books. Exc. 35000 Very good 20000 Good 10000 fair 6000 poor 2500. These are just rough estimates but are usually very accurate. The factory letters will help with info on the year it was made and who it was sold to. For example a colt saa in good conditionwith a possible connection to the battle of little big horn sold for $ 25,875. that is an increase of $ 15,875 because of a factory letter. I hope this helped.
