i have a 94 vette with 4l60e trans, 2.73 rear gear, flowmasters, k&n drop in with the lid opend up some 180 deg thermostat and that's about it, i have seen 165mph in third when i hit the rev limiter, and the stupid thing will not go into o.d. while wide open without the computer reprogramed so im not sure how much faster it could go, im guessin i could do 170 if it would go in 4th, hope that helps your ? have a good one everyone

Why would you want to put a '76 vintage small block into your 1994 Corvette to replace the LT1? That's craziness but it can certainly be done. Now, if you're asking whether you can install a 1994 LT1 into a '76, your answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. LT1 into older Corvette is a very common swap. Good luck with it.
The LT1, which was the base engine for the 1994 Corvette, was rated at 300 HP @ 5,000 RPM and 340 lb-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM.
There was no LT1 in the 1992 B body, the LT1 was introduced in the F body and Corvette in 1993, and 1994 in the B and D bodies.

The Oil filter on a 1994 Corvette 350 LT1 is right under the Drivers sitting area almost. It is hidden between the driveshaft and the Catalytic Converter. It is hard to find, unless you are under the Vette. >^..^
