The climax of of this story is when she is saved from the fire by her mother it is the climax because the rest of the story before it is explaining what she did leading up to how she got through the window to save her. Hope this helped! and if it did your welcome!

It is an extremely short story, so it is best to read it for yourself! However, there is really only one main event, a blind trapeze artist's leap!
For text of this story, see Related links below this box.
The narrator's Mother is the surviving half of a blindfold trapeze act. She lost her sight with cataracts. Because she manages to get around in her home gracefully without problem, the narrator believes it is because of her training.
The narrator knows that her Mother was with the Flying Avalons but does not think about this too much due to her Mother having no keepsakes from her past life in the act.
Basically, this is an autobiographical book.
Its in the New Hampshire, and the setting time is the late twentieth century! That's what i found!

the protagonist meaning the main character. uhm it would be the narrator (daughter of Anna Avalon) the story was told from her point of view.
There are two round characters. Henry and Lyman. We know quite a bit about both, therefore they are both round.
the title is symbolic. the story is written as fragments, different events that took place at different times, and "the leap" knots these fragments together.
Anna Avalon .
