Answer . By molecules moving around randomly until they are spaced equidistantly apart.
Original Answer: When we say equilibrium, it is a state of balance. Meaning thesummation of all forces in a system is equal to zero and the threestates of equilibrium are; sta…ble, unstable and neutral.Equilibrium has many different meanings, depending on what subject(chemistry or physics) or what topic (energy or forces). Dealingwith energy there are three types of equilibrium. Stable is whenany sort of movement will heighten the object's potential energy. When objects in stable equilibrium are moved, they have a tendencyto fall back to their original position. For instance, askateboarder at the bottom, in the middle, of a ramp. Either waythe skateboarder moves, his/her potential energy will increasebecause he/she will be raising in height. The boarder will alsoroll back to the bottom of the ramp if he/she doesn't exert anysort of energy to maintain the new position. Unstable is when any sort of movement will lower the object'spotential energy. When such objects are moved, they cannot returnto their original position without some exertion of energy. Forinstance, when a coin is placed on its side, it exhibits unstableequilibrium. Any sort of push will cause the coin to fall flat, lowering its center of mass. The coin will not return to its sideunless someone picks it up and resets it. Neutral is when any sortof movement does not affect the object's potential energy. Forinstance, a ball on a table exhibits neutral equilibrium. If theball rolls, the center of mass stays at the same height and thus itmaintains the same equilibrium.
From what I have learned in biology I found that dynamic equilibrium is a state of balance between continuing processes.
When the net force acting on the body is zero. The body will remain in equilibrium until an external force is applied to the body.
Balance. In chemistry such is the state either after a reaction has completed or (assumed) prior to the addition of a catalyst. In most other things it means a state of being …analogous to the chemical definition, i.e., steady state, calm, non-reactive, an even balance of opposing forces so that conflict (a reaction) is not ongoing. In relation to membrane chemistry, it means that substances are no longer or merely not passing across the membrane to establish this state of "equilibrium". In gas physics and most other studies it means the equal dispersion of "something" throughout the environment in which it can disperse.
The simplest answer is a state of equilibrium exists when thingsare in balance. Physical, emotional, political, etc. It is the state of a body at which the resultant forces a…cting onthe body will be zero. It is usually attained when the C.G of thebody lies within and near its base. The state of the equilibrium is where there is no change. State of equilibrium means that there is a balance of forcessumming to zero, or no acceleration. If there are no forces, therewill be no acceleration or change of velocity.
If something is said to be in equilbrium it means that is in its optimum environment and that it is functioning as efficently as possible. All the things that an organism need…s are being met yet all the things that organism doesn't need are not being met. So a balance is produced meaning that the organism can thrive.
when the force is at rest.
Dont u mean what is equilibrium?
Its steady !
there are two types of equilibrium are: 1. static (at rest position) 2. dynamic (in uniform motion)
Yes equilibrium is the state when there is no evolution in a population. In life there is no such thing as equilibrium because all populations evolve. Hope that helps! :)
At equilibrium, the reactants produce product and the product converts into the reactant. There is no change the concentration of reactants and products due to the same rate o…f reaction. Since chemical equilibrium continues and never go to stop, therefore, chemical equilibrium is a dynamic equilibrium.
The point at which the forward and reverse reactions occur at the same rate.
The mathematical or chemical use of equilibrium is better. In thesecases there is By definition this balanced state of constant changeis dynamic equilibrium.
