Gods rightousness was manifested through Jesus Christ. Christ never sinned, he fulfilled the law of God. When we believe he died for our sins on the cross and that God raised him from the dead the third day, God imputes Christ rightousness to us when we believe on Jesus. He died in our place taking the punishnent of death for our sins. See 1Cor 15:1-7, Romans 1:16 Romans 4:5, Romans 5:1, Romans 6:23 Ephesians 1:13 Ephesisans 2:8-9

"...ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Ps.119:172)
"Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. I have longed for thy Salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy Judgments help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy Commandments." (verses 173-176)
Righteousness is the "doing" of God's Commandments. It's "doing good works"... loving and fearing God, and loving and respecting others.
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called Great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
"For I say unto you, That except your Righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." (Matt.5:17-20)
"Of a Truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh Righteousness, is accepted in Him." (Acts 10:34-35)
Righteousness is doing good works in fear and respect of God and through faith in Jesus Christ.
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus." (Rev.14:12)
