I do not see aftermarket replacement rear wiper blades nor rear wiper refills listed in the aftermarket wiper catalogs for the 2004 Jeep Liberty. This would possibly indicate that the rear wiper was a proprietary technology/design and you may have to go to the dealer for the parts and possibly labor. Before doing this (because its usually a little more expensive at the dealer), you may want to visit some internet forums and see if there's other ideas out there. Google "jeep liberty forums" then search "rear wiper" once in the forums. I'm sure there's rapport on this topic.
As far as front wiper blades, The 2004 Jeep Liberty takes 19" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front and aftermarket wipers are available. Note, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'.
You want to look this up because correct wiper fit is more than correct length, it's also proper attachment. Not all attachments fit all arms. Using the application guide or looking up wiper size online will avoid headaches of buying the right lengths with the wrong attachments.
The 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan takes 28" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front and an 18" rear replacement wiper blade.
The 2002 Dodge Caravan takes 28" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front (and a 16" rear wiper blade).
The 2007 Jeep Liberty has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
The rear wiper blade is a special jeep-only part so you'll have to go to the dealer to get it. While there, ask for the replacement instructions.
The wiper blade is an 11". DO NOT BUY BOSCH 11" wiper blades for a replacement, unless you plan on using your old adapter fitting with the new blade....Bosch does NOT have the adapter to fit your blade, and if you break the original adapter, you cannot use the Bosch blade. I learned this the hard way. I believe that Anco makes an 11" blade that will fit the Jeep Liberty 2002-2004.
If we are talking about the wiper blade (rubber blade and the frame holding the blade) and NOT the wiper ARM...The 1994 Nissan Quest takes a fairly standard 14" rear wiper blade replacement (also 21" drivers side and 20" passenger side replacement windshield wiper blades). For installation, the replacement wiper blades will come with simple-to-follow, step-by-step, illustrated instructions.
The 2005 Jeep Liberty has the common U-Hook wiper arm attachments. Very simple - look for a little tab where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the arm. Press tab and pull wiper out of hook being careful not to bend the wiper arm in any way. Once you buy the correct replacement wiper blades, they will come with instructions. Also, you may want to view the videos below for Hook-End wiper blade arms.
I recently changed mine. Purchase a 12" wiper blade - not a normal size - I found one at Pep Boys - the arm including the wiper blade, could not locate just a replacement blade. I recommend using a replacement blade with the metal inserts running down the sides as it make removal / installation easier. Gently push in the lock pins (on the side of the wiper blade) and lift the old wiper blade assembly away from the back window - it should tilt - do not force the arm too far. Slide the old wiper blade off the arm attachment. Take the new wiper blade and slide it into position until the lock pins (locate on the side of the blade) locking position on the wiper arm.
The 2008 Jeep Liberty takes a dealer-only wiper blade. To my knowledge there are no aftermarkets available. Ask the dealer for installation instructions when you purchase the blade.
That rear wiper blade is only available at the dealer (there are no aftermarkets available). So, when you go to purchase the wiper blade, ask them for replacement instructions.
The 2009 Ford Escape rear wiper blade size is a special 12" rear wiper blade that is very simple to replace once you find a replacement. Unfortunately, most stores do not stock this special rear wiper blade so please see sources and related links below for more information and installation videos. Once you get the wiper blade, there will also be step-by-step instructions on the packaging.
The 2004 Jeep Liberty has a special Jeep rear wiper blade that you have to go to the dealer for. When purchasing the wiper, ask the dealer for the replacement instructions. There are aftermarket options available for the front however. See sources and related links below.
